I attended the Subaru Forester Launch with my dad last July 2, 2008 at EDSA Shangri-la Hotel. It was a great event, with lots of food, drinks and cool gifts. The new model is superb and definitely roomier than the previous model. They also redesigned the exterior and looks more modern than the 2007 model which I already own.

We didn't get to explore the vehicle that much while in the event because we were enjoying the finely cooked roast beef they served!  We can always get to see the car some other time and even test drive it. Hehe.

Check out what they gave to those who attended. It's definitely adorable! XD

Considered as collectibles in the games and mainstream category. Everybody gets the chance to own one, but the chances are still low. The items bundled with the game are FREE but are only given away when pre-ordered from selected stores.

March was really hell. The gaming industry is evil! Releasing a lot of good games all at the same time. @_@

Finally! My very own Birthday Treeson set! (There are actually 2 boxes of that in the house. Hehe.)

treeson

Treeson is a kind creature brought up by the trees…now he has a son! I think Papa Treeson is doing great as a father. As seen in the box, he eats ice cream with Baby Treeson. He even teaches Baby how to add. XD

They’re so adorable! It’s a wonderful figure set that shows why we should have a clean and beautiful ecosystem and it also promotes family life. Yup! Even unknown creatures know what love is. (I forgot to photograph the branch…it has a little heart at the end. XD)

stylus

Mwahahaha! Nintendo DS stylus overload! For those who are having a hard time in holding the bundled stylus with your DS units, this might be just the thing for you. These are actually capsule toys which can be bought from gashapon machines, and I thought they only make trading figures for those machines. XD Heh! These gashapon machines really makes my wallet empty. Anyway,  you just insert a certain number of coins or tokens into the machine and get a random design.

These are really nice looking pen-type stylus. Can be used or just for show. :P I only wanted to have 2 of those to play a certain game, but ended up buying the whole set. So now there's a stylus for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and so on. XD

*test post, cross-posting via Live Writer XD Weeee~ I love Live Writer! Hassle-hoff mag log-in to various blog accounts.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In November I pulled over and changed [info]kurozukin_a's flat tire (15 points). Last Friday I gave [info]charlesatan a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points). In September I punched [info]tenziltech in the arm (-10 points). Last month I gave [info]ruzenka a kidney (1000 points). Last Tuesday I signed my organ donor card (28 points).

Overall, I've been nice (1083 points). For Christmas I deserve a Nintendo Wii!

Sincerely,
zakobushi

Splurge! Splurge! LOL!

No matter how many times I say to myself to stop buying Vivienne Tam clothes or just buy something similar to it, I always end up buying those expensive tops. @_@ They're all so pretty and wearable. During my last trip to Hongkong, I bought a few tops to wear for some wedding receptions this year. My mother's custom-made gown was even cheaper than a sale silk top!  Last weekend, I got a top at 70% off  but it's still pricey though.

Same with shoes, I usually splurge on some pairs which I use to walk on gravel or slightly flooded places. Well, there's logic behind it. I can't just buy any pair of shoes, since it's what carries my weight all day long. So, my shoes buying equation is always: Comfort Factor is directly proportional to Price. At least, with this equation, style is not sacrificed at usually 90% of the time.

*sigh* Oh well...I guess have to enjoy everything in life. I won't be able to bring my money to the grave. LOL!

This is the rarest Dunny I got from the whole series. My brother has another one for his set, too. With a ratio of 1:96, this Dunny's price has skyrocketed over the past few days. There are more rarer figures than this one though, especially the mystery. @_@

The whole series is already sold-out. There are some at eBay, but check out the pricing...
Ohohoho! ^o^

Presenting the very first Philippine designer toy! Nardong Tae! Character of the best-selling comic book, also entitled Nardong Tae by Louie Cordero.

Limited to only 100 pieces, 10 of which are VERY limited and unique hand-painted figures by Louie Cordero himself. Just released last October 17, 2007 at the Dunny 4 party held at the Embassy, The Fort.

This extremely smelly guy is almost out of stock and will no longer be reproduced. I believe the mold has already been destroyed.

Oh yesh~ my colored shit!

What have I been eating?! XD

*correction to my previous blog entry: This figure was not in a blind box. It was packed in a black plastic bag. Kukukuuu!
